And The Award Goes To…

The Grandview Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual GRANDYs Award Dinner on Thursday, October 17th, 2024. This year's event was extra special as the Chamber introduced four new award categories that were voted on by the public: Business of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year, Community Champion, and Excellence in Leadership.

Businesses were recognized for their achievements throughout the year, including milestone anniversaries, major projects and expansions, and opening a new business. Additionally, three individuals were honored with special awards: the Social Champion Award, Chamber Champion Award, and Most Valuable Volunteer.

The delicious dinner was catered by Wingz & More, and their dessert bar was a hit with warm, fresh cookies and ice cream and all the toppings! Over 35 guests went home with a bottle of wine or liquor from the Wine & Whiskey Pull. Rodney Richards was the lucky winner of the 50/50 raffle, taking home $210!

The GRANDYs Award Dinner is a wonderful way to celebrate the success of Grandview businesses and individuals. It is also an opportunity for the community to come together and show their appreciation for those who make a positive impact on the city.
